Carrier vs. Carrier Comparisons
Married couples, how much could you save money on your car insurance? Find the best insurance for married couples and compare rates to get the most savings.
Car insurance companies frequently offer discounted rates for married couples, meaning a lower premium on car insurance. Although companies use different formulas to determine rates, generally speaking a “couples rate” will be lower than for a single person. Insurers figure that some driving responsibilities will be shared, reducing time spent driving, which in turn can lower rates. Married couples are also likely to have multiple vehicles, which can mean a multi-policy discount.
One important thing to note is that insurance companies are regulated at the state level and some states prohibit using marital status as a factor in determining premiums. So, your ability to qualify for discounts and get the best car insurance for married couples may depend on where you live.
Clearsurance analyzed customer reviews for car insurance from married couples. Here are the results — ten companies that offer the best car insurance for couples. Comparing rates on your car insurance will help you save money.
