What is Toggle Insurance?

Toggle was founded in 2018 and is backed by the financial strength, insights and experience of the 95-year-old insurer Farmers Insurance®. Renters insurance is currently available in 34 states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. Auto insurance is currently available in 14 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. What coverages does Toggle offer?

The foundation of the Toggle renters service is three subscription levels – basic, standard, and premium – starting as low as $5 per month. While the renters insurance policies are based on an annual coverage period, members have the opportunity to make changes or cancel at any time. All subscriptions carry a minimum of $100,000 in liability coverage, at least $1,000 in blanket contents coverage, and offer the ability to increase coverage as-needed to cover higher-valued belongings. The variety of optional add-on features allow you to choose the level of coverage that fits your needs the best. This is as close as it gets to customizable renters insurance. They offer standard coverages like personal property replacement cost and temporary living costs and so much more.

Credit Lift, powered by RentTrack®, which reports members' on-time rent payments to all three major credit card bureaus and can help build their credit. On average, users see their credit scores increase by 29 points after 2 months.
Always On Portability means members' belongings are covered at home, while they're traveling, and anywhere in between.
Side Hustle covers the things members use to make extra money on the side, like the camera for a food blogger, or the laptop and sound equipment for a DJ.
Pet Parent offers members protection for injuries caused by their pet to another person, covers boarding costs if a covered loss or damage makes their residence unfit to live in, and covers damage to their residence caused by their pet.
