Does NLC offer auto insurance credits?

Most companies in the insurance industry offer ways for their customer base to save money and NLC is no different from them in that respect. However, instead of referring to these money saving items as insurance discounts, they offer them as insurance credits. NLC offers a number of cost saving credits for policyholders to reduce the cost of their premiums:

• Mature Driver Defensive Driving Course: policyholders over the age of 62 who have completed an approved defensive driving course are eligible for this credit.
• Safe Auto: Credits are given for automobiles with specific safety features including anti-lock brakes, air bags and automatic seat belts.
• Good Student: Young drivers who are still in school that meet NLC's GPA requirement are eligible for this credit.
• Multi-vehicle: receive a discount on your auto policy if you insure two or more cars with NLC.

Does NLC offer home insurance credits?

• Safe Home: Homes that have a central station burglar and fire alarm may be eligible to receive this credit. Credit is also given to homes that have smoke detectors.
• New Home: If your home is less than 30 years old you may be eligible for this credit.
