What customers say about Insure.Com
Insure.com’s parent QuinStreet has been accredited with the Better Business Bureau since March 6, 2000 and has a rating of A+. As of May 21, 2018, BBB had received only 12 customer reviews for QuinStreet, eight positive and four negative.
BBB also has received a total of nine customer complaints about QuinStreet. Customers complain about repeated solicitations from different insurance agents, difficulty getting off contact list for telephone calls, and the inability to easily unsubscribe from continuous email solicitations. It appears that Insure.com sells customer leads to multiple affiliate partners, making it difficult for customers to stop these telephone and email solicitations.
Some insurance agents also have complained that QuinStreet’s leads are either not great quality or legitimate.
A QuinStreet representative did respond to customer complaints on BBB, showing that the company is actively engaged with its customers.
To get a more detailed idea of how Insure.com and its competitors perform, Clearsurance conducted a survey of 789 customers who used nine of the most visible online marketplaces to obtain online car insurance quotes.
Ninety-four Insure.com customers provided feedback, with 80 percent of those giving the company a positive rating. Overall, Insure.com earned 4.12 out of 5 stars. A very high 89.4 percent of survey respondents said they were completely comfortable with how their personal information was used by Insure.com. And 86.2 percent of respondents said that using Insure.com made for a better experience than if they had chosen not to use the site.
Sixty-seven percent (67%) of Insure.com’s users said they would recommend the company to a friend.
